Anup Vyas
President
Anup is a Technology Consultant with a passion and keen understanding of the evolving technology landscape. His experience in multicultural environments gives him a truly global outlook, enabling him to connect and collaborate effectively with diverse groups. Internally driven by a passion for community initiatives, he actively contributes to the fields of cricket, culture, and business, fostering connections between communities. Beyond his professional life, he finds joy in playing cricket, going for walks, and engaging in meaningful conversations centered on new ideas and innovations.

Dr Satyam Tiwary
Vice President
Dr. Satyam Tiwari is a Scientist at EPFL’s Laboratory of Statistical Biophysics with 14+ years in biophysics and protein biochemistry. He studies how proteins misfold and aggregate in cellular quality-control systems, with a long-term goal of designing chaperone-based biotherapeutics for neurogenerative disorders. He develops and validates assays, purifies and characterises drug targets, and helps advance preclinical drug discovery.

Kanan Rajgopalan
General Secretary
Kannan Rajagopal is a seasoned Program Director based in Switzerland, with over 20 years’ experience leading Global IT infrastructure and Digital transformation projects for multinational organizations. He brings strong expertise in network, security, and cloud solutions. Kannan’s multicultural expertise and passion for building cross-border collaborations make him a valuable contributor to is-BAL. He is committed to strengthening business and technological partnerships between Switzerland and India.

Dr Ravi Ramakrishnan
Treasurer
Ravi is a fund manager and fintech enthusiast passionate about applying AI and automation to asset management, with a focus on systematic investment strategies. Having lived and worked across three continents, he enjoys connecting with people from around the world and gaining new perspectives. Outside of work, he loves challenging his fitness limits through training and outdoor adventures.

Ashishkumar Kabra is a seasoned entrepreneur and consultant with over 19 years of experience in IT and consulting. He's passionate about leveraging data to solve complex business challenges, excelling at designing scalable and secure architectures. Ashishkumar has a proven track record of delivering impactful data and cloud solutions to clients across the banking, pharmaceutical, and telecommunications sectors in Europe, the Americas, and Asia. When he's not architecting innovative solutions, he enjoys hiking in the scenic landscapes of Switzerland, finding new inspiration.

Hiten Sanghavi’s culinary journey began in Mumbai, where his passion for food was nurtured amidst spices and kitchen experiments, later refined through formal education in India and Switzerland. His career took him across continents, from the kitchens of London to the serene landscapes of Switzerland, shaping his unique culinary perspective. With more than two decades of experience, Hiten launched HSK Enterprise SARL in 2013, introducing ventures like The Barrel Oak Irish Pub, and in 2025, KHS Management Sarl to fuse Indian flavors with Swiss-European traditions at Hostellerie de Genève. Beyond entrepreneurship, he contributes to the community through philanthropy and sustainable initiatives, solidifying his reputation as a culinary innovator. His legacy is one of passion, perseverance, and a lasting imprint on hospitality and gastronomy.
